A new colour-fixing agent dramatically reduces fade and residues that happens when spooling up. GSP fibres cannot be dyed, and while colour loss in no way compromises tensile strength, makers worldwide burn the midnight oil in the search for a more permanent finish.

The new Bionic Braid is made from a recently released grade of Micro Dyneema that uses a third less fibres for the same strength. These fibres dramatically reduce outer surface fluffing — wear and tear that rapidly occurs in thermo-fused gel spun lines and in true braids, over time.
